The Education Committee is responsible for structuring and evaluating the educational programs of the church. It recruits and trains teachers for the church school, provides materials and develops curriculum to support Christian learning for all age groups. Its responsibilities include the Church School, youth programs and adult study activities.
Ministry to children and youth is one of the highest priorities of Faith Community Presbyterian Church. We have a number of programs and events to address the spiritual and religious growth of our young people.Teachers: Click here to download Teaching Resources
Children's MinistryChildren's Message
A Children's Message is offered each Sunday during the first part of worship service. During the Children's Message portion of our service, the children respond to the worship service with spontaneous discussion. The children are then dismissed to their church school classes. They also participate directly in worship by sometimes leading in prayer, reading scripture and designing bulletin covers.
Volunteers must be screened prior to serving in positions involving contact with minors.

Child care is available during the worship service for infants through children 5 years of age. Sunday school is offered at the 10:00 AM service.
We are proud to use the "Feasting on the Word" curriculum. This exciting program has a "through the Bible" three year scope. Children of all ages study the same Bible story in age appropriate ways. Take home papers offer family activities to reinforce each lesson.
Would you like your children to have friendships based on Christian values and the teachings of Christ? We encourage children in Kindergarten through sixth grade to attend Faith Club on Wednesday afternoons 5:00 - 6:30 pm. Youth in grades 6-8 have a special leadership opportunity within Faith Club.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
